About Us

Vision & Vine Collective

Founded in 2026 in Georgetown, Guyana. Vision & Vine Collective was created to improve hospitality services, property management and development, and event coordination in Guyana, with expansion plans for New York City and other Caribbean islands.

The Team

Damali Lambert

Damali Lambert

CEO & Creative Director

Damali Lambert is the CEO and Creative Director of Vision & Vine Collective. Her journey in hospitality and business management began in New York City in 2014, and since then, building at the intersection of education and hospitality has been her driving purpose.

She founded Vision & Vine Collective to improve hospitality services, property management and development, and event coordination in Guyana. What started as a vision is now a multi-brand collective spanning bars, cafes, events, carnival, certification, and media.

A go-getter and trend-setter since college, Damali brings 6 years as a classroom teacher, 3 years in education leadership, and 7 years as a leader in nonprofit management, community relations, and youth development. During her years in education, she also served as a Licensing and Compliance Specialist supporting student enrichment programs. She currently lectures part-time at the University of Guyana for the Faculty of Education & Humanities.

Damali holds a Bachelor's in English, a Master's in Education, and a Master's in Public Policy. She also holds a Project Management Certification. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from NYU in 2024. She has been written up in the Washington City Paper for her nonprofit and community work during the pandemic, and featured by GMU's Schar School of Policy and Government and BU's Pipe Dream.

A passionate entrepreneur, Damali also founded SocaSuns, a line of Caribbean-inspired cocktail pouches that bring the flavour of fete culture to every gathering. From the road to the fete to your cooler, Damali is building a lifestyle brand that represents the spirit of Guyana on a global stage. She runs Fete-ish Mas, a premium Guyana Carnival band, and founded Steps to Another Reality, a 501(c)(3) charity established in 2019 to support the communities of Maryland, DC, Virginia, and NYC youth, focused on providing for those who have less and educating through opportunity.

Her recipe book, Uncorked Recipes by Damali, is set for release in November 2026.

A solo traveler and development influencer, Damali is building something that didn't exist before her, and making sure others can build alongside her.

Shine Rice

Inspired by Cousin Gwenny — from "The Recipes That Raised Me"

I remember being small, running around my great-grandmother's yard barefoot on a Sunday Afternoon. Listening to the laughter of the 3 generation of Afro-Caribbean women that raised me. Waiving to them as they sat on the veranda waiting for the coconut milk in the pot to simmer. Between the bruised knees, sandy feet, and sweaty hands, you would hear my granny scream, "rice done," and we all would race up those wooden steps into the house.
